What can therapy help with?

You don't need a diagnosis or the right words. Living and working in another country brings its own pressures. On the first call, we'll identify what you're facing and how we can help - which therapy approach suits you and which therapist is the right fit.

Burnout and work stress

Exhaustion that doesn't lift after a weekend off, constant tension, struggling to switch off from work.

Anxiety and worry

Persistent anxiety, racing thoughts, panic attacks or a constant sense that something is wrong.

Low mood and depression

Losing energy and joy, low motivation, pulling away from people.

Life abroad and relocation

Loneliness, missing home, adjusting to a new culture, language and way of working.

Relationships

Recurring conflicts, strain in a couple living abroad, feeling alone even when close to someone.

Pressure and responsibility

High expectations at work, difficult decisions, the weight of leading a team.

Three simple steps to starting therapy in English

  1. 01

    Choose a time

Book a 20-minute slot in our online calendar. It takes less than a minute.

  2. 02

    Free phone call

We call you at the time you chose. We talk about your situation and agree on the best kind of support.

  3. 03

    Your first session

You start therapy with a therapist matched to your needs and schedule, in Warsaw or online. If we think another specialist or a psychiatrist would help you more, we'll tell you directly.

The initial call is completely free and doesn't commit you to therapy at Liberté.

Why choose Liberté?

Therapy that doesn't get lost in translation

Talking about emotions in a second language is hard enough. Our therapists work with clients in English every day and receive supervision in English.

CBT and psychodynamic therapy

We offer two well-researched approaches. On the first call we'll help you decide whether structured, goal-focused CBT or deeper psychodynamic work suits you better.

Qualified and supervised

All our therapists hold a master's degree in psychology and are in or have completed four-year psychotherapy training. Their work is regularly supervised, and our methods follow WHO and NICE recommendations.

What clients say

“An engaging, in-depth conversation, thanks to the questions, makes the 60 minutes pass very quickly. The patient leaves with a question for the next visit, which gives time for thought and reflection. The psychotherapist refers back to earlier conversations and returns to topics raised before, which allows these areas to be explored in more depth.”
Paweł (translated from Polish)
“A very good approach to the patient - I felt looked after. We will definitely continue our sessions!”
Weronika (translated from Polish)
“Every session brings something new, and each time I leave with interesting observations and clear conclusions.”
M. (translated from Polish)
“Therapy helped me not only understand my difficulties but also learn how to deal with them. It helped me sort out many things. I'm grateful I found Ms Monika - she is an empathetic therapist who made me feel truly heard.”
Anna (translated from Polish)

Reviews come from Google and ZnanyLekarz and were left by people who state they used Liberté's services; we do not verify them independently.
