Liberté runs long-term psychotherapy processes and structured consultations for people working at a high level of responsibility. The criterion for joining our team is a diploma and accredited training, not a declaration.
History
Why Liberté was founded.
The Institute was founded by Karolina - after more than a decade working in management roles in the corporate world and after experiencing her own burnout. The decision to change course was not a symbolic gesture; it was a consequence of the fact that the quick help available on the market at the time could not match the scale of the problem.
Liberté was created as a place where the therapeutic process is treated as a craft: a contract, supervision, measurable standards of work. No promises of relief after a few sessions, no reducing the conversation to a breathing technique.
Our clients are most often people who have previously used shorter forms of help and are looking for a place where they can work more deeply, without shortening the process to an operational goal.

Five principles that organize the work of the Institute.

Team qualifications
Every person leading a process holds a master's degree in psychology and has completed at least the second year of a four-year psychotherapy training accredited by the Polish Psychological Association (PTP). This standard is not negotiable.

Safety and discretion
An office in a townhouse, a separate entrance, documentation and communication handled with care for confidentiality. The Institute does not publish clients' stories nor uses their presence as marketing material.

Rigor and effectiveness
Work based on current clinical guidelines and ongoing supervision by certified PTP supervisors. Collaboration with psychiatrists whenever the clinical picture requires pharmacological consultation.

Value over client retention
If the right step is a referral to a psychiatrist, to a different approach, or to another member of our team, we say so directly, even if it means ending our work together. The decision remains with the client.

Honesty and confrontation with care
The therapist's role is not merely to affirm the client's perspective. A session is also a place to see one's own pattern from the outside - in a frame that neither judges nor hides.
The space
A renovated townhouse near Plac Zbawiciela.
The office occupies the first floor of a renovated townhouse: high ceilings, herringbone parquet, a separate entrance. The interior was designed around two simple principles - discretion on arrival and during sessions, and comfort for a long process.

Where do sessions take place, and do you offer online therapy?
Liberté's offices are located in a renovated, historic townhouse near Plac Zbawiciela in Warsaw - high ceilings and a carefully designed space provide discretion and the conditions for reflective work.
In-person meetings are our primary format. We consider online sessions on a case-by-case basis - for justified logistical reasons or to continue a process for clients living abroad.
